Hugh Hewitt called it the Porkapalooza this afternoon. Pretty fitting.

It is just terrible.

In the first two weeks of his presidency the man is adding a TRILLION DOLLARS to the deficit for the first couple years.

Contrast this with FDR. His first hundred days saw him sign into law 15 major pieces of legislation -- ALMOST ALL of which was near-unanimously supported. In addition, before he started spending he implemented across-the-board cuts in government spending. The then-$5 Billion annual budget was cut by 15% before a nickel was spent.

These people are just throwing money away. At least Bush's attempt to save the banks was targeted with a meaningful objective.

This is just a porkfest, adding $3,000 in debt for every man woman & child in the nation. And we're getting shit in return.
