Let the debate begin--in Congress. Both California and NY are two of the most fiscally irresponsible states in the entire country. They want all the benefits without any thought of a balanced budget (Jarvis/Gann anyone?) How do you think the rest of the country would feel about subsidizing them--when a lot of states lived within their means?
