I read an article in today's paper on Newt who spoke here in Sarasota before 1700 people. It's his contention that the Bush administration failed us but he said Obama is doing the same thing. He argued for putting funds into small businesses and allowing those that mismanaged to go under...e.g. AIG LEH GM F etc. Then I read George Will's column. He is one of those conservative writer's whom I admire for his well written editorials and his common sense. He also is against this bail out package. After reading both article I am just more confused. However I believe that this is a new territory that we are in and Obama could be wrong just as much as he could be right. It behooves us all to study both sides and try to think through this thing. Economists cannot even figure out HOW to extract us from the debacle we are in now. It's a financial Katrina.
