The rest of the posters just criticize and offer no ideas.

Perhaps, they offer no ideas that you would support, but that isn't the same as no ideas. The idea that market forces are better than central planning, and so we shouldn't try to pick a solution and impose it is an idea. The idea that at the moment it makes more sense to use oil, than to have the government make a massive push for alternate fuels or electric cars is an idea. The idea of building more nuclear plants is an idea. That's just three, there have been more.
