I also played bass, but not so great. The fact I have no ear and no sense of rhythm slowed down my road to stardom. But I could stand in front of a full length mirro, my ax strapped to my body and say, "who's the cool guy with the bass?" as loud as anyone. <G>

I think a band of 7 bass players is kind of weird, though.
