Thats what I've heard too, and how I came across that site when I was curious to read some rants about these "cash4gold" sites and how they tend to offer 1/3 of fair value, or less.

Interesting that your doing that, I assume its a hobby biz for you?

IIRC nitric acid is part the purity test.
I still have a carboy of that nasty stuff when I passivated some stainless steel boat hardware I fabricated years ago.

If you don't mind, I may pick your brain in a pm about this when I get a chance, just kind of busy getting caught up on things getting over this frigging flu.
