I do maintain you have to put the "Times" in the context of the cultural milieu in which it sits--entitlementville mixed with a lot of liberal guilt about all the money they've made.

Those are the kinds of judgments that reveal more about the person doing the judging than its object.

What you are saying is that you won't read, at least not seriously, things you consider "liberal left wing standard fare" and won't carry on a serious conversation in which its journalistic products are used for the conversation. Moreover, I assume from this post, you aren't interested in carrying on a conversation with someone about the stimulus package unless you can simply state, with argument and without evidence, what your views are.

So, if it's not asking too much, what do you read that you consider to be "enlightened enough"? Or close enough to your own views so you won't have to reconsider them? Or whatever?
