HP business notebooks are still rock solid. The one you find in retail stores are made to compete with Dell, and the rest of the low end clones. Buy HP from a business reseller that does not have a show room but sells by appointment. Lenovo Thinkpads are truly the offspring of the IBM Thinkpads. Lenovo 3000 are Chinese clones.
