There is nothing inherently shocking about Limabaugh or anyone else needing large dosages of pain medicine to deal with his pain. It he was taking them to "get off", the same applies.

It is also easier for them to quit, especially if they only took enough for the pain. Rush admitted that he was taking more than that, but it was prescribed for his neck problem with high pain. He did not want to do the operation which required them to work through or around his voice box, which could end his career. Did he eventually have the operation?
