As an interested outside observer, I can't understand for the life of me why it has not used more!! It's great. I can only theorize that the umpires have said that they don't want it used as it shows them up. It would have been great to see the SV being used on the call sequence Leyland and Johnson were squawking about, but perhaps NBC may have been told it is not allowed to show close ball and strike calls...yet they show replays time and time again of close plays on the base paths.
