As has been pointed out, that was Rush's position before he was caught. He was of the opinion that junkies should be punished harshly for their addiction. As I said, you people have enjoyed it a little too much. Over a 20 year career liberals were able to dig up about 2 remarks on the subject to use against him -- from the early 90s. And yes, in those remarks he believed it was a personal responsibility issue and he didn't understand it. I rather suspect that at that time, Limbaugh was as ignorant on the subject as most people are. I doubt if he would have the same view of it today. That you and other liberals have taken such joy in bashing Limbaugh for it says a lot more about you than it does about him.
