Coaching: I was there: Purnell, pulled Clemson out of the press: I thought he had given us the ball game b/c we would have legs in the second half. They were beating us inside out on simple pick and not roll but the picker steps out beyond the 3 point line to get the ball back or look inside for Booker. We never could get a pick and roll to free up Vasallo on the other end: they were very physical, a lot of pushing and the refs were letting them play. They were hitting 3's...and foul shots....they were the better team last night...got to hand it to them...i'd like another shot at them in the ACC tourney...Oh yea....we get them the second time around.... Go Hokies.....ps...it's been decades since I've heard the Cassell that loud...
