I live in Fairfield county and can say for a fact that the county is feeling it. Businesses that cater to the high end consumer have watched business plunge off a cliff. There are far too many million dollar homes for sale that are not moving and have not been moving in my town. It is just a matter of time until real estate dives in the wealthy suburbs. I see the weekly real estate sales nad the one million and up market is not moving. I can point out homes for sale where the owners have moved out and the homes are now dark, i.e. bank owned.
