The 70's. Whew. I was a teenager. I do know people in the police in California, and people in the DA's office in SF. I can't say I have a lot of trepidation about the Bay Area. I'm sure there are problems- but I don't think they are systemic. Hey, maybe the whole world is like the Sopranos - but I've not seen evidence of it.
