Funny thing is that some of those pollutants actually reflect some sunlight back into space, causing the opposite of a greenhouse effect. An "aluminum foil" effect, if you will.

So cleaning them up, which we should anyway for health reasons, could increase global warming. The Law of Unintended Consequences is a funny thing ...
