Star Kist is not currently owned by Del Monte. Del Monte did own Star Kist in 2007 and is and was not a major contributor to Pelosi. "Paul Pelosi, Nancy 's husband, owns $17 million dollars of Del Monte stock." Can't be done with publicly available information. Might be true, might not. "Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an 'economic development credit in American Samoa'." Correct, that happened. But, since Del Monte doesn't own Star Kist any more, why is this supposed to be some sort of smoking gun?
