We lost and most of us expect to have to tolerate some liberal nuance to the government as a result. We expect incompetent foreign policy. We expect he'll appoint leftist judges. We expect he'll push for more spending.

But this stimulus bill is absolute insanity.

If Bush had proposed this wild spending bill you would have been all over it. They're calling it pork but it isn't. It is wasteful, liberal spending that will become entrenched in the budget and be impossible to get out. Forever.

The American people blundered terribly by electing this guy AND giving him congressional majorities. Just good sense tells you you don't do that. Emotions were running so high over Bush that the ABB concept took hold, Obama is such a great orator that people were overwhelmed with the rhetoric, that we got someone who's only solution is to stand back and throw money.

This spending is insane. It can't help but be inflationary; you can't print that much money without wrecking the value of the dollar.

While we expect some liberalism, I think those of us who have looked at this bill seriously realize just how big a disaster it is.
