I'm not so sure, tejek. Democracy makes for "fickle" alliances. If you don't believe me check out the several thousand protesters in Russia lately calling for Putin's ouster. That isn't even a democracy anymore, yet there are folks brave enough to take to the streets when they wouldn't even have shown their faces a year ago. When things get really bad people need to "blame" somebody and Rush makes his living off "blaming" people. Obama will get 1 year. After that he'll take possession of this mess.
