i have been thinking(egad!) what Obama does now is crucial, my cynicism aside, if he drops the ball here, he will be descredited, he MUST, i mean MUST not only have Major Teeth in the accountability aspect of TARP, and not just token crap---it is a must.
You say you are certain he will, i say he MUST, because all those with the certainty he will be shocked(or SHOULD be!!)
To, there is huge sentiment in this country for JUSTICE, and none has come.
If Obama just says "Shameful" about the WallStreet bonuses, but doesn't move to have that money RETURNED, he is just BSing the public.
Of the many outrageous actions let's single one the most blatant outrages, that being the awarding of 450 million dollar bonuses to the workers in the derivative branch of AIG.
We have given , what, 100 billion to AIG???? and now we learn 450million in bonuses have gone to the very people at the heart of this unforgivable catastrophe.
If Obama is to give any validity to his word "Shameful" he MUST get that money returned, as it is not just shameful, it is boldfaced robbery of public money, and so without ethics, it is criminal.
Obama in the next week will be tested.

or he SHRINKS BigTime.
Public wants decisive unequivocal accountability, no BS language, and they want justice, and they want those bonuses returned.
So Vi, i say, regards Obama, he shows me, and shows me now, and no utter tripe of "We will see that this does not happen again CRAP!!!."(U.S. Market History, shows IT ALWAYS happens again, always)
He must retrieve those bonuses given already, he must have them given back.
Because any, well in the future yes, but nothing retroactive, is utter BS, a con, and a sell-out.
