First they elected Grey Davis (another liberal Democrat) to the governor's office, then threw him out when the state faced financial failure, and replaced him with Arnold.

But all other offices are still held by liberal Democrats, who have spent the state into oblivion, in order to assure they stay in power. Socialistic handouts are everywhere, and votes are purchased thereby.

And if the thought Prop. 13 might be the problem, every GOPer banishes the thought as quickly has he or she thought of it.

Spendthrift Dems may be part of the problem but the real culprit is Prop. 13; Republicans believing you could get good gov't without good revenues. You've reaped what you sowed. And I bet many of those Republicans who pushed through Prop. 13 no longer live in CA. They are the ones who got the last laugh.

Arnold tried to clean up the mess but no one can undue 25 years of revenue shortfall. The golden dream has turned into fool's gold.
