Madharry,

i look at it like this - when warner did not have possession of the ball at any point that his hand was moving forward. yes, they both went forward at the same time, but he didn't have a grip on it so it more like an uncontrolled push, aka, a fumble.

having said that, i think it was worth a full scale review because it was pretty close.

great game - i took the steelers straight up (i wouldn't give points and my friend wanted to take the cards), but i still feel a sense of loss as i just like the cardinal story this year.

roth is amazing - good to see him back from his motorcycle crash. i like polamalu as he's a die hard zoner - though he tackled pretty badly today, unless you count tackling air as a good tackle.

the cards have a lot of classy guys and i'd like to see them get a ring before it is over.

i think the cards make it back next year.

oh, and props to that steeler that made all the way down the field after the pick so the ball carrier's knee could land on his leg instead of the ground. if that leg wasn't there, the ball carrier would've been short by a few inches instead of in by a few inches - and there was no time left, iirc.
