Here's an analysis of the tender offer by Dealbook, involving the the affiliation agreement between the two companies, Delaware law, and game theory: dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com I wonder 1) if DNA already has an idea of how the Avastin results will turn out, and 2) if Roche can legally buy shares in the open market at this point. I gather CDS' on Roche debt have been getting more expensive, FWIW. I looked at selling a few $80 Feb puts on Friday, but they didn't seem expensive for some reason, so I passed. Cheers, Tuck
