Your political spectrum is all screwed up. For the rest of the country, he's a centrist.....at best. I'm sorry dude, but if you think "the rest of the country" sees Friedman as anything other than a liberal, it is you with the screwed up political spectrum. The guy is a FLAMING liberal in every sense of the word. As is Chris Hitchens. It just happens they're the only really intelligent liberals who really understand the issues in the ME and thus support the war. So, since they support the war you think they aren't liberals. Smart liberals understand that sometimes wars solve problems.
