The Law of Unintended Consequences is a b!tch.

I agree that we should withdraw from the Korean peninsula. I've always believed in that. But rather than do it without any thought whatsoever, we should make sure all heck doesn't break loose when we do.

Think about what a rearmed Japan means for Asia, for example. Japan still won't own up to what they did in WWII, and lots of Asians are still pissed off about that.
