Is "washing our hands" the correct decision here? I disagree. We're already in the Korean peninsula and we've been there for over half a century now. The entire region is used to our presence, whether we like it or not.

I'm semi-libertarian, but I've always believed that if government is going to do something, it should do it right. That includes a draw-down of troops from Korea. "Washing our hands" sounds like a political cop-out.
