No matter what. This is going to be a hard sell. There is no way for me or the general public to understand the bailout package. My sense is that we are in a deep mess and we have to trust the Obama economic team to know what they are doing.

So far, however, I don't think they have done a good job communicating what they are doing. I just hope they are not relying on a honeymoon period to get this stimulus plan through Congress.

Whatever the merits of this bailout package, the stock market is not reacting favorably. Normally the market is ahead of the situation. When we have any evidence that the bailout is effective or promises to be effective the market is already there.

I don't think the market is political in any way. I am beginning to worry even more so now.
