Depression talk everywhere , gees i wonder why ? It couldn't like be REALITY breaking down the door.:) People saying americans will be up and spending like old times soon enough seem to know nothing of how history shows the cycle to frugality lasts AT LEAST 10 years--it is of one the most powerful behavior pivots in Humanity. i heard a lecture on it, saying a spendthrift society shift, IT IS SUDDEN on a dime turn, it is huge mass psychology reversal, and of major duration. Well Vi i have seen the turn on a dime turn this lecturer was teaching, but knowing our country, they may pass a law that if you save money you will be declared an anti-american subversive and to have spend time in Jail. To be american is to CONSUME, spend spend, feed the Corporate Machine, right?----what a shallow game this all is. Japan since it fled spendthrift have now been in save save frugal frugal mode for now like what, 15 years.Max
