The current issue of "Neurology" has some articles on Ty and PML. One article addresses the use of PLEX [Plasmapherisis Leukocyte Exchange] to remove Ty from the body in a matter of days rather than weeks [given its half-life ~28 days]. Huckman had a piece on this about 4PM on CNBC? There was also a good editorial in Neurology on limiting the potential for rebound when dropping off Ty.

A couple of other points that may be dawning on market analysts and traders...

If the true incidence of PML in Ty use at 17 Months is 1 in 1000, we should be seeing slightly more than 1 per month now.
There have been about 11K with greater than 17 month treatment span and only 4 PML cases. The PLEX treatment was used in all 4. However one patient died and one patient remains in poor shape.

BIIB posts an update of the PML status for Ty every Friday after market close. You can find it here: investor.biogenidec.com

The ELN press release on the PLEX study is at: elan.com

The TOC is here: neurology.org

The editorial can be found here: investorvillage.com

All in all, nothing Elanville didn't already know, but it is now in a journal... Some market movers seem to be picking up on it... Every month that goes by with one or fewer cases of PML is an improved vulnerability exposure.

A pop would be nice, but I am not looking for significant movement for about 10 months from now.

Best,
graham
