<<<What does that comment mean? Everything?>>> Exactly No, I mean not everything. The point is that we are in uncharted waters. No one really has the answer. Definitely not the republicans. They got us into this mess and they want to continue those policies that got us into this mess. That is something that we should not forget as they try to muddy the waters. Obama in my opinion is a sensible person. He is intelligent and he does not have (from what I can see) any character flaws. He is open minded and he has the best interests of the country in mind. There are loonies to the left that he has to be mindful of and I think he is smart enough to see through that. The objectives of his Recovery and Reinvestment plan are sound. You can question the implementation but basically it comes down to the allocation of resources. You can not put it all in one basket. I think Obama is trying to open up the process to allocate resources but I basically think republicans are doing everything possible to oppose his efforts.
