I don't believe the Alaska Attorney General has yet ruled on the propriety of the children flying at State Expense or the per diem for use of her personal home. However, she has stopped both practices by her own admission.

The problem is compounded by the fact that the State did not treat the items as extra income on her W-2s. The State feels some complicity in the problem and the AG is still trying to sort it out. Because it is not going to happen going forward, I suspect we may just get a clarification on the proper meaning of the rule and a "never mind" for past actions.

Maybe not, though...
