Lows can be taken out, and a countertrend move to the upside, all in the same month. Plenty of time for that to happen in Feb. DJIA is WAY oversold on the monthly chart. It has been for the last 4 months. If it stays down Feb, that would be 5 months in a row. From my experience, after 3 months of constant oversold conditions, a nice upside move occurs. I'm sorry you don't understand that bull and bear markets have countertrend movements.
