I can see that you really have no suggestion for a constructive approach. Talking points won't get it anymore. I'll give you the flip side. It seems obvious that the Democrats did not sit down and craft a serious stimulus package aimed at actually addressing the serious economic issues. What they did was throw into a package as many aspects of their wish list as they could get into it. Obama failed to rein in Pelosi before it became embarrassing. So he had to tell her to take out things like condoms. Now President Obama is forced to make the case for a stimulus plan that should have been appropriate before it was presented. That's what happened. I know you want to blame Republicans, but those days are over. You won.
