We haven't gotten cable TV in the house because it would result in all the Philippinos watching more Philipino TV in a language I have not yet learnt. I figure they have enough Tagalog things going on at the moment (there are anywhere between 5 and 20 of them around at any time) which generally don't include me, so I don't need to add TV. I should learn the language, but it would take away from my leisure time. So what do I do all day? Well... I'm going through every movie on this list and watching the ones I haven't seen yet, from 1936 to present: filmsite.org I apply for jobs using Bloomberg, the CFA website and eFinancialCareers online twice a week, that takes about 3 hours each time. I surf the web, that can take forever before you finish it..... And once you start to play a game of mahjong, it seems to not end until midnight. Who has time for language class?
