Supply and Demand changes -

>>Supply Upsides

Canadian tar sands -still producing at today's prices.

Brakken Shale in North Dakota

Offshore West Africa - a lot more than Angola now. Because there are some many small countries, this does not get the coverage of Brazil's sub salt finds.

Deep Deep DEEP Gulf of Mexico.

And maybe even more Iraqi oil on the market.

>>Supply Downsides -

North Sea, Canatarell in long term decline
Nigeria, Venezuela, Iran tied up politically
Russia steady or declining

>>>Demand Downsides -

Sharp decrease in Large SUVs, replaced with "cross over" car based SUVs. Going from 16 mpg to 24 makes a big difference, a lot more than some one moving from a 28 mpg to a 36 mpg hybrid.

Large scale growth of new diesels in Europe - we don't see this in the US, but the diesels get considerably better mileage.

Ramp down of Iraq War and possible change of Afghan War.

>>> Demand Upsides -

The usual India / China / emerging market growth story
