It isn't like no terrorist has ever gotten off free, either.

Bin Laden did it, we know he did it, but proving it in a court of law may or may not be easy. Were he tried and acquitted it would be the darkest day American has seen in its entire life.

For that matter, the very idea of a trial of an enemy combatant sets a precedent that would be terribly harmful to the country.

I really cannot imagine you're taking this position other than to just be argumentative. You cannot be this stupid.
