It's not a question of being better after being enlightened. And it didn't happen with an epiphany. I am not constrained by the dogma and fears of religion I had as a child and student....I am free of the biases and bigotries of organized religion...and that makes me a more objective and smarter fellow.... I've learned about all sorts of cultures and places in the world that many are frightened of and will never see and learn about. And I continue to try and understand how educated people believe such unbelievable stories....
