captive market maybe.. i remember getting ten bids for doing my roof a few years back. huge spread in prices , i used the same supplies, so the only variable was labor and check out each contractor jobs before deciding.

i believe the same will happen with any type of work you want done this spring. these people can only hold out for same wages for so long then their profession will collapse.
