Happily I've always said I'd be happy to pay more taxes for a more egalitarian society. I think it cuts down on unrest- so I think it's a winning strategy. I've got posts going back 10 years or so saying that, and I'd be happy to dig one up for you. It's just who I am. Whenever I take those tests about "What country would you be happiest in?"- I always end up in Sweden or the Netherlands :-) I like taxes to be raised to fund programs that anticipate problems and solve them before they become critical: Message 20260689
