Until someone responds with direct knowledge of OCGT's PrimeCare System, I can maybe provide some clarification by citing some statements in the OCGT's Form 10-KSB/A.
(implicit is the assertion that the System is software, not hardware)
"The System comprises a patient centered integrated medical interview, encounter documentation, patient and physician education, and chart creation system which, in turn, creates a detailed electronic patient record and provides an uncomplicated, standardized mechanism for collecting and documenting all relevant clinical encounter data at minimal cost time."
"The Company...market(s) the System as a servive, an a pay for use basis, with a charge of $1.50 per patient visit. This...eliminates financial commitment to purchase the software, monthly maintenance charges, and ties the cost directly to use. The Company intends to interface the MIS billing system (another of their products) with the PrimeCare System...(with) an additional fee of $.50 per bill."
OCGT has PrimeCare costs in updating its medical content, enhancing the system and keeping up with both hardware and software technology to keep the system up to date.
