REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. (AP) -- Business software company Oracle Corp. has agreed to buy mValent Inc., a Waltham, Mass.-based maker of software which configures computer applications.
Oracle, which expects the deal to close in the first half of the year, did not release any financial details of the agreement.
According to CapitalIQ, mValent serves financial services, e-services, retail, health care and life sciences customers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan, Kohl's and DirecTV. Its mValent Integrity product simplifies and automates configuration management for Java and Windows-based applications. |
