This bill is two things -- a political payoff for certain supporters, and a down payment on the extreme liberal socialist agenda that Obama planned from the outset. It depends on the end bill. Of course you are trying to make it a partisan thing, that's what you do. "Everything Dem is bad". We'll have to see, but I think the Obama approach is starting to work. The crap is being thrown out, the good stuff is being retained. We may actually get a good piece of legislation. The last thing you want. Did you see they finally passed the SCHIP expansion? Good stuff. Lot's of Republicans on board. Americans DO NOT WANT this socialism in our country. American do not want you nut cases in charge anymore... that's obvious from recent elections. Frankly you compromise or you are left in the wake. As an old fashioned conservative I hope that we don't go off the deep end, but it wouldn't surprise me. You guys have given the "conservative" label a really bad name. Makes me sick.
