Alberta Diamond Exploration Update
===========================================================================

In the Buffalo Head area of Alberta, New Claymore Resources Ltd. has a number of ongoing exploration programs underway on lands optioned to joint venture partners as well as on its wholly-owned lands.

The Company has received an interpretation report of the aeromagnetic survey carried out on the 360,000 acre Carmon Creek Prospect which is optioned to Meteor Minerals Inc. This property lies immediately southwest of Ashton Mining of Canada's kimberlite discovery, towards the Mountain Lake kimberlite. The aeromag survey yielded more than 120 "raw" anomalies stronger than 10nT and the interpretation has refined these to eleven anomalies which could represent kimberlite pipes.

New Claymore has recently acquired a further 1.25 million acres of permits in various areas of Alberta, bringing the Company's total acreage to 13.5 million acres.

The Company has granted a common share purchase option to an employee to purchase a total of 10,000 shares at $2.60/share for a period of five years. This option is subject to the approval of the Vancouver Stock Exchange.
