I think anyone who has a vague familiarity with these states -- Iran, NK, pre-war Iraq, and others -- realizes you cannot deal with them on rational terms.

It is bizarre to me that Obama, even though he is a neophyte, actually believes he can do this. While he is new to this game, he has enough exposure that he should know this.

I do think the reference to Chamberlain is appropriate -- it is not unlike the thinking that resulted in the devastating fiasco at Munich.
