I think (1) is ruled out as of NOW, (2) is unlikely, and
(3) is looking to be the way we are going. The amounts of
stimulus are not staggering for the total US debt. However,
they must find buyers. So, in a really pessimistic scenario
we are looking at a currency crisis, at which point, like
Argentina in 2001, we'll have to decide whether to allow
depression or hyperinflation to unfold.
