Just fortunate she still has a job to worry about. With my spouse in the public sector, the whole economic train wreck is separated from her daily existence somewhat. Makes for a curious difference in perspective when we rehash the day's events over dinner. I gave up watching most political chat shows apart from a few minutes when other shows are on commercials. More therapeutic now to enjoy escapist entertainment, since there is little we can do about the politicians or the markets either way. It's nice to see a president who is confident, engaged and making a real effort to lead in a messy situation. Big change.
