Of course not. It was the period before the downturn. Its the "and where recently much higher" that I was talking about.


What driver will the US have that will give us an advantage in leveraging our economy out of this slump?

There doesn't have to be one specific special driver. Its not an unusual thing to grow out of a slump, is normally the way things work. You would only stay in a slump if there was some unusual factor preventing recovery.
