Do you condemn Saul and Samuel for committing genocide against Amalek? Do you condemn Moses for his murder of women and children prisoners in Numbers 31? I do. I say if these things happened they were wrong, indefensible, immoral. And if they're only stories i say portraying them as just, righteous killings is also wrong and immoral. Can you say the same? You are mixing the approval of Man by something God decreed. Does it go against my HUMAN nature, absolutely. It makes a person cringe to read what was ordered to be done in the Bible. That's our response on our level. These were God fearing people who obeyed His commands. We cannot expect to understand.
