If you want to cut the debt, start with the Pentagon. I suspect we disagree a that point, where to cut the debt.

Did you see the chart I posted a couple days ago comparing our military spending with other countries? I have argued here for years that our military spending is out of control. Not by a little but by a huge amount! I'm a Ron Paul fan remember? He wants America to come home.....militarily. I walk the walk John when it comes to America's debt.

And my thoughts remain that the debt only gets worse if we don't address this. Not to mention the suffering.

Tell me how the debt gets better if we spend on food stamps and unemployment? It gets worse! That is why I favor jobs. Jobs put people to work and they pay taxes - and the money they spend goes into the economy and pays more taxes. The money on food stamps is a dead end.

Of course, I've thought of it. Anyone who cares at all has thought about it.

Perhaps, but you haven't said how we pay it back. It's more digging........
