Yes, it is impressive.....neither side panicked. Both did what they were supposed to do. No small feat in this day and age.

Exactly my thinking. The tape is worth playing over and over. One can't make a text book better than this.

I am sure the controller must have freaked when the pilot said he was landing on the Hudson and then went off radar.
