he's a winger. Who cares? If he's conservative that doesn't make his claims wrong (or right). If your making the stronger case that what he says is wrong because he's a conservative than your engaging in the classic ad-hominem fallacy. If your just saying something more like "I don't bother listening to conservatives", then technically it wouldn't be ad-hominem, but it would be an example of being close minded. Either way its not an argument against any of his points or claims.
